Seniors Tea with NGV Online

The National Gallery of Victoria has launched a new free online event series called Seniors Tea with NGV Online for older people to connect virtually through art discussions while the Gallery is closed.

Settle in with a cup of tea and enjoy a group conversation in these informal sessions exploring art together from the NGV Collection.

Like a book club, an NGV host will introduce the artwork and lead the group discussion. NGV looks forward to welcoming you, and hearing your experiences and perspectives.

Please note no prior art knowledge or experience is required.

This session we will hear the stories behind Claude Monet’s Rough weather at Étretat (Gros Temps à Étretat) 1883, in the NGV Collection.

Upcoming sessions on August 19 and 26 and September 2 and 9, from 10.30-11.00am, will focus on Claude Monet’s Rough weather at Étretat 1883, pictured below.
