The Royal Commission announces a Community Forum in Adelaide

The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety has announced details of a Community Forum to take place in Adelaide.

 

The Royal Commission wants to hear from the Australian community about their experiences of and ideas about aged care.

 

In addition to submissions and hearings, the Commission is undertaking a series of community forums, roundtable meetings with experts, and service provider visits during the course of its inquiry into aged care delivery in Australia.

 

The Royal Commission Community Forums are an opportunity for members of the local community to hear about the work of the Royal Commission and to offer ideas on the challenges, strengths and opportunities to improve aged care.

 

The Forum will take place from 1.30 to 4pm on Monday 12 August 2019, at the Auditorium, Adelaide Town Hall,128 King William Street, Adelaide SA 5000.

 

Commissioner, The Honourable Richard Tracey AM RFD QC will attend.

Members of the public can register for free to attend the forums, where a limited number will be able to make a brief statement.
