Double fatality vehicle crash, Coolum Beach
Two older men have died in a single vehicle crash at Coolum Beach on Queensland's Sunshine Coast last night.
Queensland police have advised that at about 10pm Saturday night 5 May 2012, a vehicle was travelling north along the Sunshine Motorway when it rolled over at the Yandina-Coolum Road roundabout.
The driver of the vehicle, a 63-year-old Western Australian man, and one of the rear passengers, a 69-year-old South Australian man, died at the scene.
A 54-year-old Western Australian woman and a 68-year-old South Australian sustained significant injuries and were transported to the Nambour General Hospital.
The Queensland police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Older Australians are reminded that they should exercise extreme care when they are driving or in the proximity of moving vehicles, even on foot. An accident from which a 20 year old might walk away, may well prove to be fatal to an aged person.
