SA 2018 Seniors Card and directory available

The 2018 Seniors Card Discount Directory, Your Lifestyle Guide, is now available for South Australian Seniors Card members.

Close to 700 businesses are offering more than 370,000 Seniors Card members a range of discounts and offers that are listed in the easy-to-read guide.

Seniors Card members can pick up a copy from one of hundreds of collection points across South Australia including The Catalyst Foundation, local councils, MPs offices, libraries and community centres.

The updated guide has discounts and offers including on travel, dining, entertainment, home and garden, professional services and retail.

The South Australian Seniors Card program has partnered with Vodafone to offer a new package to members which aims to provide members with a better phone and mobile data deal.

This year, Seniors Card members have the opportunity to win a $5000 holiday courtesy of business partner, Australian Holiday Centre and Captain Cook Cruises.

The Your Lifestyle Guide also contains valuable information on technology and going online, concessions, planning ahead, energy saving and consumer advice like buying a car or house, ladder safety, online shopping, refunds and scams.

Permanent South Australian residents aged over 60 and working less than 20 hours per week in paid employment are eligible to receive a Seniors Card.

In addition to discounts from the business community, Seniors Card members are entitled to free travel on Adelaide Metro public transport services all day on weekends and public holidays, and on weekdays, all times except the morning and afternoon peak periods of 7.01am to 9am and 3.01pm to 7pm, where discounted concession rates apply.

The discounts listed in the guide are also regularly featured in WeekendPlus, a digital magazine for seniors which contains news, information, discounts, special offers and competitions which is emailed to more than 62,000 subscribers each fortnight.

Once again, the directory includes some stunning photographs submitted by Seniors Card members as part of this year’s Through the Lens, the annual Seniors Card photographic competition and exhibition.
